| We
worked very hard on this design to make
an all eco-friendly Bamboo shoe storage bench that looks great and is
Ready-To-Assemble (RTA), so we can keep the shipping and assembly costs
down while still producing a high quality piece of furniture that should
last you a lifetime. This makes the perfect entryway bench since
it is a bit smaller than our Tansu II shoe bench. It features an adjustable or removable shelf
to accommodate a variety of shoes or even boots. We are also working on a design for a tall shoe storage cabinet which will have sliding doors and also a boot storage cabinet. If you have a particular need let us know and we might be able to incorporate it into a new design! By the way, we design and build everything to be high quality, so of course we use only the best Hafele RTA hardware with even brass inserts for the connecting bolts. And all of our products are made in the U.S.A! We have decided to call this our "TakeBako" line of shoe benches. "TakeBako", pronounced "tah-kay-bah-ko", is Japanese for bamboo box. We love working with bamboo and are planning to make many more of our products out of this terrific eco-friendly material. Besides looking great it's also formaldehyde-free!
